Making it real - Kiwi intranet lunches

Hi everyone,

Many thanks to everyone for contributing to Nadia's 'Help with content
labels' query.

Having fallen off the digital world in 2008 I'm struggling back, and
hence this post.

I'm keen for Kiwi Intranets to have a more personal face - so I'm
proposing Kiwi Intranet lunches round the country.

Thanks to Greg for putting me on the National Libraries blog regarding
the Publications NZ website. In it Paul Reynolds and Sarah mention the
value of fact to face events.

Christchurch Lunch,

Hi everyone - just back from the first Kiwi Intranets lunch.

Eleven people from a diverse range of organisations had a very fruitful hour
and a half.
What is an intranet and how it is perceived in your organisation kicked things
off, thanks Fraser, and led to some great discussion around how different
intranet consumer perceptions.

Governance and how intranet manager jobs are defined also came up.

All in all a very interesting and useful get togeather for all concerned.
