Hi Guys
I've been asked by Dave to clarify my first statement below - I work for Plant
& Food Research which is the result of the December 2008 merger between
HortResearch and Crop & Food Research. HortResearch had the homemade PHP /
MySQL solution and Crop & Food had implemented a Drupal solution over the
previous year.
SharePoint was chosen as the new intranet platform after evaluating our wider
PRA and collaboration requirements (in consultation with Information
Leadership) and finding that neither of the legacy intranets met our needs.

datasouth - and any choice has to hold until this is completed. We currently
have elements of sharepoint here - but may not be bound to this product..
